Rosneft: the Russian oil giant
announced Friday the signing of a series of contracts for the supply of
crude via the pipeline Druzhba, between Russia and
Central Europe, including one of 15 billion dollars with the Polish PKN Orlen.

It
will provide to PKN Orlen six million tonnes of oil per year for three
years for its refinery of Plotsk, Poland, has detailed the public group
in a statement.
Rosneft
has signed contracts of the same type with the French Total and
Anglo-Dutch Shell subsidiaries to power the refinery PK Schwedt in
Germany, which they hold stakes, but the financial terms have not been
specified.
The
Group expects to sign a similar contract in the near future with
(Italian) Eni, which also holds a share in the refinery, it added.
The
Druzhba pipeline to transport crude from Russia to Central Europe
via Ukraine (Southern Branch) and Belarus (Northern Branch).
These
new contracts for delivery of crude to Germany and Poland will
lead to an increase in exports of Rosneft via the northern branch of the
Druzhba pipeline to almost 13 million tonnes per year, said the Russian
group.
